    I know it is 6th ave, but it may be somewhere between 36th and 39th

    there is an illegal sign

    thanks for the tip, Im gonna go check it out in a few hours. i noticed you havent commented on the voice article response of mine. I hope my explanation didnt make me seem like i thought i was above the law or overly zealous in any way. I know full well im getting myself into some precarious positions that might be hard to wiggle out of but i do feel its worth my time and whomever else might need to get dragged into it if the need arises.

    I think Carrie Lambert-Beatty talks about this kind of work nicely when she says "By providing opportunities for belief-however fleeting, and no matter how stymied-such tactics of plausibility provide especially rich, emotional experiences of 'what-if.' The art of the plausible works to edge an imagined state of affairs from the merely possible to the brink, at least, of the probable."

    i called this one in and got complaint number 1235593. you were right, there was no permit for a third party sign whatsoever. thanks for the tip. theres an image of the ad just in case anyone wants to see how large and obnoxious it is.
